Oh hai! I'm Ashley. I'm a nurse, wife, a momma....and I'm pretty freaking cool {if I do say so myself.}

Aaaand (spoiler alert) this is my blog! Welcome!

Nurse? I've been one for 6 years now and can't imagine doing anything else. Not only does it give me the extreme warm fuzzies knowing what I do makes a difference, I'm also fascinated with all the ew gross yucky stuff that comes along with it. Wife? I get to be one to the handsomest man I know, my college sweetheart, Dustin, who is knee deep in estrogen. Momma? I sure don't mind the Jessie Spano reference because I get to be one to 2 gorgeous silly billies known as....

 We also recently added a naughty little yellow lab by the name of Max to our family. Or Maxamoose, Maxaroneous, Maxy Boy, Maxaroni and Cheese. He's special & will answer to them all. Good thing he's sqwishably wuvable or else I'd have the urge to punt him (it's good!) You'll also hear me mention Weight Watchers considering it helped me shed over 20 el-bees since February 2011. You may also hear an overshare and f-bomb or 3. Intruiged? You should be.

I like sunflowers, puppies, rainbows, and wish for world pea....oh wait, wrong shpeel.

Here we go. I love Forever 21, chevron, Instagram, Splenda, Yuengling, carbohydrates, Modern Family, and anything monogrammed. My creamer to coffee ratio is 60-40 (forgot Splenda? Don't worry, I carry a ziploc full in my purse). I spoil movies for myself by Wiki-ing them before watching them. I consider Tori & Dean the perfect couple, although that's probably frowned upon. I'm of amazon stature at 5 foot 11 (and 3/4) inches & finally just recently embraced my height. Hello wedges, hello heels! Leo DiCaprio still makes my heart go flippy flop floop as does Tom Hanks & Bruce Springsteen. I've seen 'Tangled' more times than both my daughters have. I take themes a bit too seriously, but hey! Details are amazing (and important, Dustin.) I grew up in a town famous for bratwursts. And yep, I still live here in Buckeye Nation. I dream of living within walking distance of Starbucks & Chipotle, and then realize how made we have it living by all of our family {helloooo date night!} My husband still gives me butterflies, after 10 years together. With both of my pregnancies, I would've bet money I was having little boys. Those were the only 2 times I was just fine with being wrong.

Whew! How's that for an extra special glimpse into my life?
