9 pounds 2 ounces 23 inches of goodness wrapped up in a chubby med free delivery 2 weeks late. God my mom's a rockstar. Look how gorgeous she looks after that workout.
Did I also mention that I was supposed to be a boy? Or that she broke my dad's finger during all this excitement? Because I was ("Brent Michael" to be exact. Hello 80's.) And she did (by squeezing his hand so tight while pushing.)
I'm 27 today. Grateful for everything I learned this past year. And so ready for all that lies ahead of me.

Happy Birthday my "baby girl". I was your age when I delivered you. I remember your dad saying to the doctor-"GIRL, what do you mean a girl. She was supposed to be a boy" The doctor said that there was nothing that he could do. LOL. The early ultra sounds were so wrong many times. We even did your room in blue and took a boy's outfit to the hospital to bring you home. Your great grandmother went out and purchased a little girls outfit to bring you home after we found out you were a little girl. Needless to say, your dad and me became smitten over having another daughter. And you had your dad wrapped around your little finger instantly. On the morning that you were born, there were a total of three little girls born. The other two little girls were in the five and six pound range. At the nursery window, they placed you in the middle of the two little girls for viewing. Oh, how I can remember the comments that were made. LOL.You may had been the biggest baby born that day, but you were still our precious little baby girl....and always will be no matter how old you get. <3
