Fall Bucket List Finale

Can you guys believe it's the last day of November? I don't even remember any of the teens this month. Feels like we had the first week of the month & then Thanksgiving, and now the last day.

I figured since we just had our first snow here in Ohio (a-wee!), I better have my last 2011 fall bucket list post.

The girls & I drank fancy coffee drinks at our favorite coffee shop in town, The Pelican.
French Kiss....Funky Monkey...Snow Cap....Buckeye....I always struggle to pick my fav. Brookie & Emmy, however, love them a strawberry smoothie every time.

We took a nature walk at our favorite park a few weeks ago when the trees were at their color peak.

And we had a bonfire last week...
Complete with s'mores!

So, that's our list! 13 out of 16 isn't bad. Well, more like 13.5. We did collect leaves, but not for leaf art. Nooo, we did something way more special with our leaves :)

Now it's time for the winter list! Off to Pinterest I go....

Yes. The game was terrible. As much as I love my Michigan friends, I cringe at the sight of that giant M. And it's a crummy feeling to lose :( It's been a rough year for the Buckeyes, but we definately have hope for next year with Urban Meyer hoppin' on our bandwagon.

BUT! As terrible as the game was, these girls made up for it. The sweetest lil Buckeyes.

And? Resembling each other so much more now.

Slim Fast Review & Sephora Giveaway!

When I started Weight Watchers in February, I was on a mission. I wanted to bring sexy back. Have my milkshake bring all the boys Dustin to the yard.

And it worked. After losing 17 lbs in May, I stalled. I had 8 pesky pounds to lose and set a goal date.

That date passed.

And here I am, now only 6 lbs to goal weight, but still! I want them gone!

Enter Slim Fast On the Go Shakes.

The new flavors include Flavors include Creamy Milk Chocolate, French Vanilla, Rich Chocolate Royale, Cappuccino Delight and Strawberries N’ Cream. And check out the hot hourglass shape to the new bottles ::jealous::

I decided to try out the French Vanilla. And when Fed Ex brought me my package, I was so impressed.

It all arrived in a big red box with a big red bow. And inside I found a 4 pack of my new yummy drinks.

Oh & all this...
A drive with all new Slim Fast information.
10 (yep ten) coupons for $10 worth of Slim Fast products each.
And 7 (yep SEVEN!) Sephora giftcards in a mirrored compact (complete with fresh Brooklyn & Emily fingerprints.) More about these soon.

The first thing I did was try out the new shakes.

And?

They are honestly delish. I remember my older sister doing Slim Fast in a can back in high school & her letting me taste them. Those don't compare to the new creamy rich taste of these. So vanilla-ey, so yum!

Even Dustin enjoyed them...although I don't think he grasped the concept of meal replacement considering he drank one with dinner.

Now that we're knee deep in the holiday season with so (so so so sooooo) many delicious food temptations all around, I can feel much better about indulging in a treat if I have one of these for breakfast or lunch. And it doesn't hurt knowing they're there in the fridge in case any holiday weight decides to make a home on my love handles. And finally fiiiinally I can rid myself of these last 6 lbs! I'm so ready for final before & after pics y'all.

So, let's get back to the Sephora giftcards.

....You know you're intruiged.

And you should be. Slim Fast is giving away FIVE $25 Sephora giftcards to FIVE lucky Stauffer Shenanigan readers! Amazing, right?! Treat yourself to a little early Christmas present and help yourself go from "now" to "wow".  And I promise to get the girls fingerprints off ;)

Good luck everyone!

*While I was given Slim Fast products to review at no cost & compensated with Sephora giftcards, all opinions are & always will be 100% my own*

tunic--tj maxx
leggings--target
boots--kohls

So yeah...these aren't the best Steppin' Out pics. And they weren't taken on Saturday. But considering how busy the past 5 days have been around here, I'm just grateful I remembered to snap a few.

I had to ask for advice on Instagram (follow me! ash6703) on the tunic because I was pretty ish about it. It struck my fancy in the store at first, but I didn't put it in the cart until last minute. A total impulse buy. When I got home, I put it away in the closet. And there is stayed for a good 5 months. I'd pull it out as a night out option but would put it back. Just never was too sure if I jived on it or not.

And now? I wish I had 10 more just like it to wear with leggings & boots. Being of amazon stature with a long torso, tunics aren't ever really tunic length on me. But this one was. And it layed well too (according to the hubs). No bunching (thanks Spanx!)

Enough rambling over a $12.99 shirt.

Dustin & I went out Thanksgiving Eve with his sister & brother in law. Chipotle & a few drinks. My darling husband was the responsible one because well, warm apple pie shots kind of sneak up on you.
Anyone ever notice how amazing Chipotle leftovers taste after a few cocktails? Like 100 times better. Pop that bad chicken bowl into the oven for 10 minutes & ZOMG.

And ever realize how much happier you are after a few cocktails? We were downright giddy when something as simple as when "Crazy In Love" came over the speakers.
Ya know, cause that was our jam.

Until "Poker Face" came on.

Is This Thing On?

*pshpsh* Check Check One Two....

OH HAI FRANDS! I know I knooooow I've been MIA this week but I promise I have a great excuse for it.

I was living my life.

Yep. That's it. I was just being me. A mom. A wife. A daughter. A friend. And it was great!

I didn't whip out my fancy camera with every cute thing the girls did. Instead, I lived them. I made memories, documented for life right up in the good ol' noggin.

And? I didn't worry about blogging. Not that I didn't miss or intentionally ignore you guys. Pinky schwear.

I was just having too much fun living my life instead of documenting it. So what's that mean?

It means that little breaks like this could and more than likely will happen again. It means maybe even longer breaks, who knows?

But rest assured, I'll always come back. Always. I couldn't leave you pretty lil thangs. And well I dig this whole blogging biniss.

Oh and it also means a clusterfudge picture overload post.

Here's a lil peeksy at what we did tonight....
In the words of Brookie "Ahhhh...too perfect".

I hope you all had a beautiful Thanksgiving with your loved ones. I definately did.

It's been a pretty dull weekend in the Stauffer house. Friday night Dustin & I drank hot chocolate and watched "Crazy,Stupid,Love" which was pretty adorable. Yesterday my mom & I went for pedi's and then to Old Navy to snag up a coat (75% off already marked down prices and another 10% off coupon=$110 coat for $24 for me. BAM!) Today? We're being pretty lazy...fighting the urge to pull out all the Christmas decor.
And also fighting the head congestion & belly aches. Brookie & I have been pretty pitiful today....hoping it's just a lil bug because this girl? Pro Thankgivinger. Like whoa. I'd hate to hang up my Thanksgiving pants this year.

Nice List Sneak Peek

As much as we're trying to respect the bird around here...

we just cannot contain ourselves from making out Christmas lists!

Here's what the girls have compiled (so far...)

::For Brooklyn::

Fisher Price Doodle Bear. Brookie has been begging for this for months. And it MUST be purple!

Pet Pals 2 for her Leap Pad. Which she calls her Lily Pad. Which is more like an iPad. Which is shamazing.

Anything Lalaloopsy.

Disn Princess Toddler Doll & Dress Combo.Opens in a new window.
And any one of these....or ya know, one of each. (This is a 3 year old's list.)

Oh and just about everything she sees on commerical. Even boy toys because "even though I'm a girl, I can still play with trucks!" Atta girl.

::For Emily::

Fisher Price Little Mommy Stroller. She has been so sweet with her little babies lately, I know she'll love this.

Mega Blocks. Anything that stacks is a party for her!

Cowgirl Jessie Plush Toy -- 16'' H
Plush Jessie doll. She is obsessed with this cowgirl & sleeps with Brookie's plastic one every night. This one will be much more comfier to cozy up next to.

My Pal Violet. Brookie still loves her Violet to this day. I know Sissy will too.

And their joint gift this year? I'm reeeeally hoping to find a good Black Friday deal on this...

KidKraft Kitchen. Doesn't it look like fun? I would've LOVED something like this when I was younger...and I kinda wanna play with it right now.

So tell me....are you respecting the bird or do you have your list a-blaze? My list? On fi-yar! I'll share soon...

But for now, do share yours!

I'm honestly surprised I even got these decent shots...

because the majority (like 99.1%) of our photo shoot went a lil something like this...
::sigh::

At least we got one good fall shot of the 2 of them.
Next year? More bribes will be involved fo sho.

Lamesauce

I'm going to apologize in advance for THE crappiest weekend recap post ever, BUT there are some super cute pics involved, so this shouldn't be a total waste of your click.

You all saw how my Saturday-day went ::points down:: Well, here's how my night went...
Just what any other cool kid was doing on a Saturday night...decluttering & organizing.
Every now & then I get the cleaning tickle, spend an asinine amount of time on one cabinet or shelf, get tired, & play euchre on the computer. The tickle hits again about an hour later...wash, rinse, repeat. And yes, I consider this fun. I'm a hopskipandjump away from QVC shopping, aren't I? ::shudders::

Yesterday the girls & I went with my friend Lyndsay & her kiddos to the zoo. 64 degrees in the middle of November in Ohio? Unheard of.

The big sisters had a great time together, as always, & the youngin's mainly strolled/wagoned along.

Great weekends like this make Mondays even worse. Especially when the weather has taken a turn for the worse & all you want to do is lay in bed, watch Roseanne reruns, & eat grilled cheese sammichs.

 I know, right? Sounds fab.

ETA---BUT there is definately one thing that isn't lamesauce here & that would be the winner of the Oh Baby London t-shirt giveaway!

Drum roll please.......

Congratulations Jennifer! Iddy biddy baby Corbin will defiantely be stylin' in his new shirt =)

My Momma & I hang out often, but we always have the girls with us (which is fun), but it limits what we can do & how many places we can go.

We think going up & down every aisle at TJ Maxx is fun. They don't.

So this morning while Dustin stayed home with the nuggets, my momma & I headed out to do a lil shopping & have lunch.
Can't have an "us" day without Starby's. Sticking to my favorite, as always. Iced vanilla cafe latte with 2 splenda's.

And wouldn't ya know on a day where I had no bored grouchy toddlers, I couldn't find much of anything I wanted. On my list to get was a new purse (no go), a few tunics (nope), and a pair of black boots (nada).

I did however find a giant stuffed Potato Head for Emmy for Christmas & a ruffle jean skirt on clearance at Old Navy for Brookie. The shopping highlight of the day was definately 7 undies for $26 at Victoria's Secret.

After lunch at Logans, with a big ol' side order of cinnamon apples, we headed home. Such a nice, calm day :)

Hope y'all are having a great Saturday. It's gorgeous today in Ohio, sunny & 60. All the leaves are falling off the trees which is sad, but hey! At least it hasen't snowed yet here.

Jinx!
