Happy Halloween!

Hope you all had a spookyrific night with your Trick or Treaters.

Us?

We had a great night! The girls loved trick or treating, being with their cousins, and seeing all their grandparents. Hearing my little witch say "Trick or Treat" and "Thank You" to everyone made me beam. And watching my little pumpkin waddle around with an M&M face was adorable.
Gah, I loved their costumes.

They must take after their Momma in that department.
::swoon:: My all time fav.

AND before I forget, I want to announce the winner of the Fresh GraNOLA giveaway.

 ::drumroll please::
Sarah from It's a Vol! Congratulations!

Thanks to everyone who entered. Be on the lookout for more fun giveaways in November and, of course, a photo overload of Halloween this week!

Plum District & Erin Condren Deal

It's sunny & gorgeous outside. And I've gotta hot date with the hubs tonight. So why am I here?

Because I had to share a lil sum sum with all you guys. A few of my friends on my mommy board were recently raving about a planner. Not just any ol' planner. If you're anything like me and get giddy over color coordinated tabs & large calendar spaces to write in (why do some planners make them so tiny?!), then an Erin Condren  planner is for you. Once I saw one, I knew I had to have it. But? The $50 price tag was a bit much for me.

So when I saw on Facebook that Plum District was running a deal for a $50 gift card to Erin Condren for only $25, I honestly squeed out loud. That in and of itself is a fabulous deal, BUT if you are brand spankin' new to Plum District and just signing up (like I was), you automatically get a $5 credit. So that's a $50 for $20.

BUT! If you buy this offer before Monday, October 31st and use the promo code "spooky30", you'll get another 30% off. So, that's a $50 giftcard for $12.50. Nope, not shittin' you.

I'm in no way affiliated with this, although it would be fabulous if I were ::waves hi!::, I just know so many mommies would love this. Erin Condren sells everything from Christmas cards to personalized i-Phone cases, but her biggest sellers are her planners.

You can personalize the cover with pictures (for an extra charge), or just pick one of these super cute designs. Me? Well with the help of Brookie, we picked out this one...

with our names on the bottom, of course.

I cannot wait to get this in the mail! To bring out the inner 13 year old in me and maybe, just maybe, buy color coordinated pens!  I can't stop exclaiming at you!

!!!!!!1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11!!!!!
....Whew, think I got it all out.

Sooo, are you hoppin' on the planner bandwagon? Gimme the deets of your planner.

Spooky Breakfast

Last Sunday morning, I made ghost pancakes for the girls for breakfast.
The girls loved them. Well, double fisting Emily did. Brooklyn was upset that there were only 3 chocolate chips.
A conversation between Dustin & I while I was making these.

Hubs:"What are these?"
Me:"Ghost pancakes...although they kinda looks more like commas."
Hubs:"Or spermies."
Me:"You know these are for your daughters."
Hubs:"The hell they are."

Fresh GraNOLA Review & Giveaway

I am pretty psyched about this review & giveaway. Not only because the owner of this shop is a great e-friend of mine I've know since we were pregnant with our firsts, but because her products are simply amazing. A few months ago, I got an email from Myndee, who owns Fresh GraNOLA, about reviewing a few of her home products. I instantly squeed because I knew so many other women who have tried & absolutely loved their purchases.

Since becoming a mom of 2 (and one on the way!), Myndee developed a passion for ensuring that her family used safe, natural home and body care products. Most commercial products labeled "safe" or "natural" are not only expensive, but not as safe as they appear. To be sure she knew what they were using around their house, she began making her own products. Now, she wants to share these affordable eco friendly creations with everyone. And with 100% positive feedback in her Etsy shop, I'd say people are pretty pleased with these creations.

In my goodie basket, I received a big ol' package including laundry soap in Fresh Day scent...
And Banana's Foster room spray.

I cannot help but rave about these 2 products. The room spray scent lasts for hours. I've sprayed it before going to bed at night & it still smells so sweet when I come downstairs. My first thought that first morning wasn't "Coffee. Now." but "Ohmygah it smells so good in here...I have to Tweet about this". Myndee has a whole list of scents, but I gotta say Banana's Fosters is where it's at.

And the laundry soap smells so good. Fresh Day is the perfect scent for clean clothes. Now, I'm not going to sit here & fib to you that I do laundry. *Confession time* I've actually never done a load of laundry in my life. Notta one. (Shout out to my fabulous mother in law who had chore lists for her children back in the day.) But I do fold & put it away, so that kinda counts, right? Anyways, I've noticed how much softer & cleaner our clothes are since using this soap. Even Dustin remarked that it doesn't take as much soap to clean the girls daily spills of food/crayon/juice/what-have-you as it does with other brands.

After using Myndee's products, I will never buy laundry soap or room spray from a WalMart shelf again. And I want to convert you, too. So 1 lucky winner will receive a goodie basket like mine of 1 bag of laundry soap & 1 bottle of room spray of any scent you'd like!

This giveaway will last until next Monday, October 31st & a winner will be announced shortly thereafter. Check out the Rafflecopter rules below & good luck!!

*While I was supplied the products reviewed here at no cost, my opinions are and always will be 100% my own.*

We had a great Saturday yesterday. It was sunny & 60 degrees, so we decided to make the most of it and hit up the pumpkin patch again, since Dustin hadn't been there yet this year.

{I know what you're thinking. "You were at the beautiful pumpkin patch & you took your picture in your kitchen?!" Unfortunately, yes. The girls must of been on an apple cider high because they were running around ev.reee.where, so Dustin & I were just stoked to get back to the car in one piece. Oh & if I asked him to take my picture mid spaz attacks, pretty sure the vein in his temple would've popped. For some silly reason, he isn't as fond of being my weekly photographer as much as I thought he'd be ::lathers sentence in sarcasm::}

Anywho, back to the patch. It was a nice day & we all did enjoy it, squawking and all.
See? Brookie is loving rust as much as Momma is ;)

The funniest thing happened when we got there. I was watching Emmy run around the wagon full of pumpkins & something clicked. I realized that she was wearing the exact same brown Baby Gap sweater her sister wore to the pumpkin patch 2 years earlier!
It is the softest warmest fall sweater, no wonder I put it on both girls at the same time during the year.

Today we're headed to the local corn maze, doing some pumpkin carving, & maaaaybe making funfetti cookies--check, check, and check off the fall bucket list. (Oh and by 'maaaaybe', I mean hells to the yeah we're making funfetti cookies.)
Hope you're all having a wonderful Sunday!

Photo Challenge:Faces

This is my first photo challenge from The Paper Mama. Chelsey has such a sweet blog & an even sweeter daughter (and their wardrobes? swoonworthy), so I'm pretty excited to be taking part in this.

This weeks challenge? Faces.

I think this is pretty swoonworthy as well.
I just love it when she scrunches her nose like this.

Princess Pick Up

If your girls are anything like mine, they love them some Disney movies. Most of all? Princesses (and in Brookie's case, lions. And in Emmy's, space ranger/cowgirls.) While doing my nightly dose of pinning, I came across this. I was a bit skeptical. I didn't want to have to sign up for magazines, newsletters, or play 20 questions. But there was no sign up at all, it's completely free.

A princess is going to call!

I just entered in my phone number, decided on which princess Brookie would like to talk to, picked a date & time to call, and which message she'd like to hear.

So? Tomorrow morning at 10 am, Brookie will be getting a call from Belle (her fav) about how good of a helper she's been to Mommy & Daddy. I cannot wait to see her face light up.

Which princess would your youngin' love to get a call from? Each phone number is allowed 2 calls, so I'm thinking Ariel just might also make a call soon. And Emmy? Well she'd give anything for a call from a Bubble Guppie.

Do You Ever?

Do you ever let your 3 year old eat 5 banana popsicles one after another because Hey! They're sugar free, so it's like juice, right?

Do you ever sit down for a quick Facebook check when both girls are napping and then the next thing you know 3 hours have passed, the girls are awake, and you have Pinterest to thank for the full sink of dirty dishes.

Do you take the wrong turn, the wrong exit, get freaked out about being lost & the first thing you do is? Turn the radio off & sit up straight against the wheel....because that's gonna help you find your way.

Do you ever write out a to do list...get to the bottom...misspell a word....and instead of scratching through it or just forgetting it, you crumble up the paper, toss it in the trash, and start a new one?

Do you ever have no problem buying your daughters ridiculously priced coordinating outfits they'll wear (maybe) twice & outgrow in 6 months simply for a photo op, but have a buyers remorse 'take it back/keep it' war in your mind over a pair of $40 jeans for yourself?

Do you?

.....Yeah, me neither.

This was Brookie's first wedding & she was pretty excited about it. Kept asking if they were going to live happily ever after :)

And yes, this is a twofer post. After we got home from the reception, my momma stayed with the girls while Dustin & I went out with the inlaws for shopping & a late dinner.

I swear we always have so much fun with Dustins mom & stepdad. Last night? Picture taking & drinking Wallaby Darns at the Outback.

And I was SO HOPING to upgrade my phone, but apparently I'm not eligable until 10/26. Big fat bummer. My MIL did upgrade to the iphone 4s & I got to play with it for a bit. Siri? Love. Want.

But? I also got to playing with the verizon thunderbolt & loved it as well. The big screen especially. Which would you pick?!

How 'bout a vote for double dating with your inlaws on Sweetests Day? Yep, we are that awesome.
