How we roll

0 comments

I thought I could do without one. Didn't need to spend the "unnecessary money". I'd wear Emily in my Moby & roll Brooklyn in the single stroller. Or we'd just put them both in the wagon.

Then I saw the light.

Wearing Emily didn't always prove easy & when someone wanted to nap, where would they lay in the wagon?!? It was time to spend that "unnecessary money" and invest in a double stroller.

I did have a few requirements. It had to be light weight and it had to be a side by side. The thought alone of the girls bickering back & forth about who sat in front, who sat in the back, why couldn't they see each other, yadda yadda yadda, drove me crazy...no way was I going to live it.

So the search was on. I found a few I liked---ohhh like the Bumbleride Indie twin---and then I realized the fact that money does NOT fly from my butt {I think that's exactly how Dustin worded it.} So the search continued.

Mommas....ever hear of Albee Baby? No? Go there now. Trust.
There we found the perfect solution to my champagne taste on a beer budget ;)
Side by side--check!

We ordered this God send on a Tuesday & it arrived by Friday. We also got free shipping because it was over $100. I'm tellin ya, Albee Baby is where it's at!

The girls LOVE it. So much so that when we first opened it, they insisted watching an hour of Bubble Guppies while sitting in it.

It's a breeze to wheel them around, fits in our trunks, and best of all, keeps them contained. Happily contained. This "unnecessary money" should've been spent long ago...like June 2010 long ago. It's also getting my butt in gear to go out & exercise with them. {I know I've promised a weight update post for like the past month, but one is on the way. Not fibbin'}

Now that's not saying the double stroller is the girls only ride.

Emmy is rollin' in her crazy coupe...

and gets angry when big sister tries to steal shotgun.

And Brooklyn is rollin' in her Ariel "motorcycle".

They be stylin'.

**Just an FYI ya'll. I recently updated Our Story *look up* if you wanna take a peek :) Andplusalso Jumping Jax Designs is working on a beautiful new header for the Shenanigans. Sorry I'm naked on top, but I won't be headerless for much longer!*
