That's it. I'm officially closer to 30 than ever before. I'm not too sure how I feel about that....ask me again in 3 years.
I had to work on my birthday {boo for a Monday b-day}, but the doctor was out of office so it was a pretty mellow & unexciting day. That is, until we got a delivery at the front desk.
Ohhh that man of mine. Could he BE any sweeter? And could these BE any prettier?!?
My Momma wanted to take us all out to dinner, so we headed towards O'Charleys--mainly because of my love for their California chicken salad. But also for the girls love of their rolls.
Lame I know...but I absolutely love these 2 walls. The brick against the stone, I had to get our picture with it. If only that stone wall was a tad longer, my picture OCD wouldn't be flaring. But hey! We're all either looking at the camera or smiling, it's a keeper!
What's a birhday without presents?!? :)
Dustin, of course, bought & sent the beautiful roses. And I think he might've had a little part in the girls gift to me. A sweet silver pendant necklace, that I'm wearing in the picture above {kinda hard to see yes, but it's so sweet.} We're also going to Cedar Point on Thursday which I am SO excited for. For the past 3 summers, I've either been pregnant or nursing or had a newborn. I'm itchin to get on those coasters!
And then my Momma got me this...
LOVE it. A billion times better than the strap the camera came with.
Mine & Dustin's favorite little bakery in town is closed on Mondays, so we celebrated with cake today. How adorable is Dustin to think of having the cake decorated like this?
Don't be scared...it's not a bat. It's a camera & film strip.
A certain someone was WAY more excited about the cake more than the birthday girl was...
so she had the honor of blowing Momma's candles out.
Someone else was ready for a slice. She gotta couple tastes of frosting, but we'll save her first slice for her birthday....in 3 weeks. Wow.
All in all, I had a fabulous birthday. Thanks to everyone for all the wishes!

Happy Birthday!!!!! I know the feeling. I remember wanting to cry the year I turned 26...lol, seriously. No I just fear 30! ;)
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a great birthday (and awesome trip to Vegas) AND a great 8 years together! Sounds like June has been awesome so far.
