12 Weeks!

How far along? 12 weeks.

Total weight gain/loss: According to the bathroom scale I am back at even stevens zero. We'll see if that bastard emmanuel scale will have anything to say about that on the 14th

Maternity clothes? Jeans. Shirts are way too loose.

Sleep: Asi Asi. I slept like absolute crap Tuesday night, but Pusscakes Stauffer here watched Paranormal Activity right before bed so I had it comin.

Best moment this week: New Years Eve! Mine & Kendra's plan came into effect perfectly...Dustin+Stacy=Besties!! lol So excited for 2010.

Food cravings: Still jivin on the apples & peanut butter. I had about a 10 minute daydream at work the other day about spaghetti with meat sauce. But the noodles are so drenched in parm cheese that it's not really much of a sauce anymore....know what I mean?....no? Psh, you're missin out.

Gender: I'm back to pleading the 5th. Cause I for realzy have no clue.

What I am looking forward to: 2010. And spring, but it's too early to bitch about the snow.

What I miss: Dinner at The Outback on NYE made me realize that my body is having Wallaby Darn withdraws! And that a virgin Pina Colada just isn't much fun.

Words Of Wisdom: Invest in a good bra. And when the underwire starts stabbing your inner boobie, upgrade!

Milestones: Flutter from Sprout on December 30th!

Christmas & New Years Eve pics soon to follow :-)

Houston, we have movement. Well, we have flutters. And it feels beautiful.
I'm sitting here at work, analyzing over the schedule & charts when I feel a lil inside sweep. Imagine a butterfly wing grazing you low in your abdomen.
With Brookie I didn't feel these until about 16 weeks. Acutally, probably sooner but I just assumed they were gas bubbles. Now it's an undenyable feeling. I like to think Sprout's just giving the good ol' ute a high five. Kinda like a "You're awesome Mom, keep the OJ coming".
Will do Lil Sprout! <3

How far along? 11 weeks-ish

Total weight gain/loss: Still down dos. If I didn't know any better, I'd be like one of those chicks on I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant. "Honey...there's a baby in the leg of your pants!"

Maternity clothes? Secret belly fit pants=heaven! Although I can still wear my pre-preggo jeans, these are MUCH comfier.

Sleep: Was actually pretty good this week.

Best moment this week: The 24th-26th. Family, friends, FOOD, & presents. I love this time of year. I cannot wait for Sprout to be in the mix next year.

Food cravings: I got my first "Ohmigosh gotta have it" craving last night around 1am. Apples & peanut butter...neither of which we had. And Dustin didn't go get it for me....and by this morning it was like Ehhh, I don't really want it now.

Gender: This week I'm saying girl. Soley on the fact that the I noticed the ratio of girl grandbabies to boy grandbabies is about 10 to 1.

What I am looking forward to: Eggnog at Gma & Gpa Stauffers tomorrow...although I'm pretty sure raw eggs are a pregnancy no no, but 1 sip should be mmmkay.

What I miss: Ask me this on New Years Eve...

Words Of Wisdom: I've got nothin this week. I'm too full of food to think.
Milestones: Maternity pants are out!

Whaddya Get {part deux}

Ya'll know my recent love of OJ. And not just any OJ....this good stuff riiight hurrr
I crave it in the middle of the night. And there's no way I wanna go downstairs to get a glass when I could just bring one upstairs with me at night...right? But, hence the title of this post, that isn't always the greatest idea.
Soooo whaddya get when you drink a half gallon of OJ every week? Cankers :( Well, one canker (so far). But here's the kicker. This thing is on the right side of my tongue. Waaay in the back of my tongue. And it's hurts.
I can barely chew without flinching & I feel like I'm talking like Cindy Brady. But that's not gonna stop me from indulging tonight. Remember those commercials where they just put a straw in an orange & enjoyed the pure goodness...ya, that's what this stuff is like.
oh & p.s....expect my week 11 lovely baby bump on Christmas Eve...check it out

10 Weeks!

How far along? 10 weeks.

Total weight gain/loss: At my appointment yesterday I was still at -2. {-2.4 if you wanna get technical. And considering I gained 55 lbs when I was pregnant with Cakes, I'm taking every technicality I can get!}

Maternity clothes? No. Although I have to do the hair tie loop-de-loop with jeans now. Or wear my bella band, like in the pic above.

Sleep: I miss it so much. I'm so tired at night but I've been so restless. Ughhhhh

Best moment this week: Christmas work party. They had the best BBQ meatballs & fruit kabobs. And a lil holiday cash bonus never hurt anyone. **And of course seeing Sprout bouncing away on the ultrasound :)**

Food cravings: Watermelon Sour Patch Kids. and Zuppa Toscana soup.

Gender: No clue. And I can't believe I'm not driving myself crazy yet wondering because with Cakes I had trouble sleeping at night I was so curious!

What I am looking forward to: Christmas is only a week away!

What I miss: Caffeine. And Amaretto Sours. And wine.

Words Of Wisdom: Got 20 spare minutes? Nap. Screw the laundry, screw the dishes, take a snoozer. You'll feel better...promise.

Milestones: Double Digits wooo woooo!
{Side note~>please excuse my fake smile in the picture. Lack of sleep + crappy morning = The Chandler smile}

Hey there....Cutie

Cute kid huh? Ya, that's my baby :)

Today Dustin & I went to the dr's for my 10 weeks appt & viability ultrasound. We wanted to bring Brookie with us, but Baby G passed out 5 minutes before we were set to leave. And we don't wake Brooklyn up from her nap. She instantly turns into satan's spawn. So my momma came right over to watch her sleep & off we went.

Started with a weigh on, on the digital scale & not that ridiculous emmanuel one (bwahhaa! I laugh because only Kendra will understand that. And the fact that it'll have to go trim the bushes once it's done) and I'm still at negative 2. Take that emmanuel & your up 3 pounds bullshiz!
Sooo I had to get a pelvic exam. Good times. Even better was having Dustin sit there all awkward not looking at us & pretending to read a Good Homes & Garden magazine.

After all that was done, we discussed lil Sprout's birthday. I heard the nurse wrong last visit, Dr. H's surgery days are Tuesday & Wednesday, not Tuesday & Thursday. And he delivers us repeat c-sectioners between 38 & 39 weeks. So it'll be June 29, June 30th, or July 6th. Every year Dustin's family has a big July 4th get together & I don't wanna miss it :( With Brooklyn I was in the hospital for 4 days recovering. And I was pretty sore for a good week afterwards. So a part of me is hoping he'll let me go until July 6th. And it'll be kinda neat that Brooklyn, Sprout, & I will all share the same number for our birthday. We'll see! Sprout may have his or her own plan in mind & show up unannounced at 37 weeks!

Anywho, Katie brought the doppler in & we were gonna listen to the baby's heartbeat! We were so excited. Dustin got his phone out to record it & he had a big smile on his face. Katie searched for a good 5 minutes & couldn't find the heartbeat. She kept saying the lil one was hiding, but Dustin & I were scared. I am very paranoid to begin with & I was thinking the worst. So off to the ultrasound room we went. As soon as that probe went on my belly, we saw Sprout....and a beautiful heart beating away.

And Ohmigosh he or she is soooo active. It was flipping around, squirming & kicking. Dustin was like Don't you feel that?!? And then I reminded him the baby was only a couple inches long so nope, nothing yet...but I cannot wait until I do. The baby has grown SO MUCH since we saw it only 4 short weeks ago. It actually looks like a baby, fingers & toes & all. And s/he was waving at us, it was a.dor.a.ble!

Heart rate was perfect at 167.Brookie's HB was 150 the first time I believe. Old wives tale is anything over 150 is girl, anything below is boy....ohhhh I don't know, we'll find out soon enough.

When I first found out I was pregnant, based of my last period, my due date was July 14th. That was moved up a day after my first ultrasound to July 13th. And now baby dos is measuring another 2 days ahead. I asked the tech if my due date should be moved again to July 11th, she just said it wasn't significant enough to change the date. So I guess I'll keep July 13th for now.
Here's another lil shot of my cutie pie xoxoxox
Next appointment, January 14th....where I get to do my glucose screening....ughhhhh

Do you like Flock of Seagulls?

Psh...cause Brookie sure does. Pure 80's rock right herrrr.
{actually this is what happens when you have your baby wear pigtails all day then sleep all cockeyed in the corner of your crib....but for her reputation, we'll just say she knows how to jam}

Christmas Cousins

Look at Brooklyn from this time last year! This was about 5 minutes before she had an absolute meltdown & nothing could calm her. Not shushing, not the boobie, the binky, the snuggling, absolutely nothing. She screamed bloody murder for a good 20 minutes & it was awful. That was during her 3 month old constipation era :( Look, she even has her lil dukes up, ready to fight that stupid poo!
It's so amazing how much Brooklyn & Hadley have grown. And Ali has too! As promised, here's the pics we got taken yesterday.
So adorable "You can dance if you want to, you can leave your friends behind, because if your friends don't dance & if you don't dance, then you're no friends of mine" The closest thing Brooklyn gave us to a smile

Doin a lil jig And giving a sweet smile. Isn't her hair absolutely gorgeous?Haddie's face here cracks me up! They both look a little shocked/scared. I think this was when an employee brought out a singing and dancing reindeer. Brookie's about dunzo This one is so sweetAww CakesMy favorite

Whaddya Get

When you take a pregnant woman out to eat twice in one day? Her wanting to explode, one end or the other!

Today I took Brooklyn over to Mansfield to meet Tiffany & Hadley to get the girls annual pictures taken @ Portrait Innovations. Unfortunately Ali wasn't there...that's a whole other story though & it makes us very sad that she wasn't involved. Anywho, we got there @ 1050a, when our appointment was set too. 30 minutes later they call us back & the girls were already pretty worn out. I mean we got a few good shots, what you could expect from a 1 & 3 year old. P.S....expect a post soon with the pics. Bloopers & all!

So we did the whole shpeal with the photographer reguarding what pics we wanted & they said it'll take 20 minutes to print the pics. That was @ 1p. Fast forward to 150p & they still haven't gotten to our pictures. And Brooklyn was dunzo. Stealing other kids legos, stepping on kids legs (well he was laying right in the middle of the play area & she wanted to get around him....so she went over him), and just throwing a fit. And also putting all the shared legos in her mouth or sniffing them....oh how Howie Mandel would cringe.

Finally finally FINALLY our pictures are done & over 100 bucks later we're out the door off to the Olive Garden to meet up with our besties.

I love the OG. It's the best. If I had a trapper keep I'd write AS+OG=4Eva all over it. And whenever Kendra & I go out, we don't pissfart around. We go to eat, gossip, & enjoy watching our girls make everyone around us uncomfortable! lol

Sooo bellini tea, zuppa toscana soup, breadsticks, salad (of course more than 1 bowl), seafood alfredo (at least we split an entree), & lemon cream cake (which by the by was also shared!) later I.couldn't.budge. I'm still {semi} fitting in my pre-KU jeans, well until after this meal I was. Thank God the bestie came prepared with a hair tie so I could pull the ol swoop the button trick with my jeans.

We hit up Target which took about 20 minutes to get too, scored some super cute clothes & stocking stuffers, & then before I knew it 7 hours had passed! Nooo, we didn't spend 7 hours there, although we probably could've minus the girlies. But I had been gone all the live long day. It was a great way to spend the day though. I was exhausted and Brookie was too. But when we got home, someone had already made plans. Who dey? Dustin of course. He wanted to go to Upper to look @ the lights & eat @ MJ Mugsy's.

The whole drive there I was just thinking I can't eat again....or can I? Mozzerella sticks sound good...God I'm obese....maybe I'll just have a water....but then my mom would bitch @ me for not eating....screw it I'll eat....ooooh cheeeseburger.....

So add a cheeseburger (did I mention bacon?) and french fries.....and a garlic stick....and a water (score 1 for me) and I could.seriouslly.hurl. I don't dare take a picture of what Sprout's house looks like right now!!

But dayuuum, it was good. We went to the lights which were fun. You stay in the car & drive through & only pay 5 bucks for the car. Brookie kept pointing & clapping, it was adorable. Speaking of adorable, could Brookie BE any cuter? Or stylish?!? Is it wrong of me to live vicariously through my 15 month old's wardrobe? I mean, I'd rock those boots! Although I don't think wearing pom pom's on my feet would make people think "hmmm, mature 24 year old mother of 1 and a half with a decent job/career". But this chick is jivin in them. Too cute eh?

9 Weeks!

and yes, I'm late. Crazy me offered to work an extra day this week sooo I give you 9 weeks {and 3 days} I think I see a semi difference from 8 weeks. A lil more pooch if you will.

How far along? 9 weeks....ish.

Total weight gain/loss: First thing in the morning I'm negative 2. At night is another story. I chose to believe the morning!

Maternity clothes? No. But I wore jami pants all weekend then scrubs all week....but I'm hoping my jeans are still cooperating.

Sleep: Up at least twice a night to either pee, check on Brooklyn, or from a hot flash which is ridonkulous considering Dustin keeps our house frigid & it's 12 degrees outside!

Best moment this week: I found a new boy name I love. And our girl name is definate & I luuuuuuurve it so much!

Food cravings: The usual this week---Swiss Miss hot cocoa & OJ fo sho. I really wanted a big ol' bacon cheeseburger yesterday....Dustin brought me home a jr bacon from Wendy's. My hormones got the best of me & we'll just leave it at that { FYI, he survived ;) }

Gender: I'm saying girl today. No particular reason why. Maybe it's because I love our girl name so much, it might be wishful hoping.

What I am looking forward to: Sleeping straight through the night. And with 2 under 2, I'll enjoy that when I'm 45.

Words Of Wisdom: Stear clear of the new brownie melt at McDonalds. It's McNasty

Milestones: Halfway (or less) until we find out the sex. We could do as early as 16 weeks, but I might go more for 17 juuuuuust to be sure!

Cannot Freakin Wait is putting it mildly

I am stoked. STOKED I tell you. I so hope this is a good sequel, especially since A. the 1st one was so good & I thought pretty much told the rest of their stories. Therefore leaving little room for another storyline. and 2. It's common knowledge most sequels suck. I'd hate for this to suck. Even if it does I won't admit it though, Dustin would get too much joy out of that.

My sister & I went to see SATC in May 2008. I was 5 months pregnant with Cakes. And we'll more than likely watch SATC Dos in May 2010, where I'll be 7 months pregnant with Sprout. {siiiiiigh} will I ever get to enjoy a Cosmo after any SATC premiere? Virgin for me please, as Samantha would say ;)

The Naughty Chair

First things first....Brooklyn has been sick for the past 5 days--Vomitting, congestion then runny nose, fever, restless, diminished apetite, all the nasties. Went to the dr today & turns out she has a bilateral ear infection & a chest cold :(

Add some bubblegum Amoxycilian to the mix & you've gotta brand new Cakes! I cannot tell you how much I've missed this smile!!!
WARNING---pregnancy has decided to take out revenge on my skin. Apprently it wants me to go back to being a 13 year old playing pogs & listening to Hanson & old school BSB. Oh & my morning sickness comes at night....I look like crap, but I couldn't get rid of this picture of Brooklyn.....You've been warned

But seriouslly, she's gorgeous :)Then she did a little vogueing....kinda like Tina Fey in Baby Mama
"Stop framing your face"...."I think it's good"......"It's not!" Now we move onto the naughty chair. Oh wait, I'm sorry. Did I say naughty chair? Because Brookie thinks this is the place to be. This chair came in a set & was mine back in the 80's. There's mushrooms & flowers & clouds & a ginger boy on the seat. It's downright scary. I figured Brooklyn would be a little Dawson Leery of it, hence my reason for wanting to make it her naughty chair.
I was wrong....very very wrong. She loves her naughty chair

"I'm stumped....why are you sooo cool?!?"
"I'm taking you everywhere with me!""Get over it Mom, we're best friends!" I tried to put her in the naughty chair yesterday when she tried to bite my hand when I corrected her about not touching the tree. The rule is that she sit in the chair in the kitchen for 1 minute.

I plopped her on the chair....and she started clapping, squeeling, & kicking her legs. After 1 minute I came into the kitchen to take her off the chair & she refused. She wanted to be in the naughty chair. This is the same child that also loves being confined to her pack & play. We'll just call her unique...sounds better than odd huh? lol

What Lil Sprout Will Be Made Of

Not sugar & spice & everything nice, or snips & snails or puppy dog tails....we won't know that for another 10 weeks. No, no this is what I'm subjecting my child to because of my crazy cravings.

My favorite things (this week) I can't get enough of during this pregnancy. These are almost an everday occurance...ok they pretty much are everyday, but at least ONE thing is healthy, eh?

Swiss Miss....this chick is my homegirl. Every night for the past week has involved a cup of this good stuff, made with milk and not water of course. And the tiny lil marshmallows...ahhhhSimply Orange! And only pulp free. I bring a glass of this to bed with me everynight for the 2a & 5a pee wake up calls. It's way better than water and by then, the toothpaste taste has worn off so I'm good! And then a big glass of this in the mornin! Now this stuff is white.gold I tell you! I prefer Smith's, but I'll take Helluva Good dip too. Weirdest thing of all? I cannot stand onions, I hate them. But this stuff is so friggin good. Oooh Oooh! Especially when you've gotta.....Big old Frito scoop to pile it on!!!!! So Lil Sprout will pretty much be composed of sodium, cream, & be orange.
Every mothers dream
